This evening guided walk explores Madrid’s hidden stories and darkest chapters: the secrets of the Royal Palace, the grim details of public executions under the Habsburg and Bourbon monarchs, forbidden love affairs between kings and actresses, astonishing yet sinister discoveries involving foreign noblemen, and the charitable works of individuals whose lives were far from exemplary.

Madrid’s nights have always been long, lively and, at times, dangerous. They have also long been—and still are—the hours of temptation, crime and scandal. Throughout the tour, we visit places associated with some of the city’s most famous ghost stories, as well as sites marked by brutal murders, tragic accidents, romantic intrigues and supposedly haunted palaces.
