The Prado Museum
The Prado Museum or simply “the Prado”. When it was founded on the initiative of Queen María Isabel de Braganza in 1819, no one thought that this modest gallery where some, very few, works from the immense collection of royal paintings were exhibited would become what it is today: a paradise for art lovers, and especially Spanish art from the Middle Ages to the end of the 19th century.
The Prado is almost a parallel world. It’s easy to get lost in it, impossible to see and digest everything in a single visit. One more reason to put yourself in the hands of an experienced professional who designs a tour of the masterpieces of this museum.
